With all due respect how do those help you survive? I usually have a length of cord in my pack or vest. Is there something special about this>

Paracord has about a million and a half uses. String for the bowdrill, inner core to stitch your cut back up, inner core for fishing line, makeshift hammock.... the list is endless. the predominant use on all the survival and bushcrafting forums is for shelter, although I dont really know why. Maybe a ridgeline for your poncho/Tarp??

I don't know what particular braid is used, but the one I have seen holds about a foot of cordage per inch of braided length. Just imagine a braided rifle sling...

Nice work; I like those. I just picked this one up at LL Bean in Albany. We were just passing through on your way to NYC for a family wedding. We always stop to eat at the Cheesecake Factory in Albany. And I always go into LL Bean.

Oh OK, cord is always handy, thought that the bracelets had something to do with survival. Always have a good length with me in my pack and vest. Seem kind of a yuppy thing to me with the jewellery like bracelets (no offense meant) and to have to take a bracelet apart to get to a length of line, especially with cold hands etc. Mine is stored just looped with a quick release.

I have a handful of survival bracelets, give them out for birthday and Christmas presents to. Wear mine daily, and have some strapped to my packs.

Default Parra cord

The top two are bow wrist slings, handy stuff no matter how you want to carry it around. Cheers
