Ken I'm so sorry to hear this latest news. I have to admit I wouldn't handle losing blood tests very well. Never seen that happen before. Has Fletcher been checked for RSV?

I hate to say this but start documenting activities ,procedures, and times of anything being done to your little one.
That includes status of health, and procedures taken by the medical professionals.
Observe and record. Ask staff questions and take names.
And pictures.
Witnesses too.
We are all pulling for the little guy.

Complete flustercluck gets worse, if you can possibly imagine, they contaminated the urine sample.
My daughter is absolutely livid, imagine living in a room half the size of your bathroom, no bed, just a little steel isolation crib and a chair that does not fold for 4 days. Now they say they are hoping to have news tomorrow. I thought, when we got there that the people were absolutely great, but as it turns out someone is incompetent, and my daughter is ready to kill someone.
I told her to contact administration to file proper complaint and negligence forms, see if they actually get anywhere. I am afraid that when the samples come back that if they are positive for menengitis she will kill anyone in her path. I would if I was there.
More later, hopefully something good finally.

Wow!! Not sure I would be able to keep from freaking out!!!! Poor Brittany must just be going absolutely crazy!!!! How can they mess everything so badly? I would have no faith in the hospital at all.... 
Praying he is going to be ok. Will keep praying untill he is better..
The whole ordeal is simply unbelievable!!!

Trouble is though Hal, it is very difficult to get a transfer out of the Univeristy in Saskatoon to Alberta. Also the ambulance from just Unity to Saskatoon was $1250, going from Saskatoon to Edmonton will be $5000 and she doesn't have it.
Anyone want to buy my truck so I can pay for another ambulance ride?

IF it is possible, IF the hospital will allow it, IF we can do the transfer, let me know how much it would cost please. I think at a 4000 ft ceiling the pressure would not be too bad, and at 150 mph as opposed to 60 with a half dozen stops in between that sounds like a wonderful idea.

Maybe its time for Brit to call a press conference at the hospital and tell the community that the docs are trying to Kill her baby with their stupidity.
How she wants to have her baby moved to a hospital that will get things done and stop messing up everything
The media will eat it up and put pressure on them...

My eyes just burned when I read the latest news. How can they possibly be that incapable of performing their basic duties. This... these are lives. Not just a job to show up to and get paid. Argh.
Meanwhile, your grandson, your daughter, your entire family waits an eternity.

The trip is funded if we can put it together, I am just afraid that 'lifeflight' in a personal airplane would not be legal, recommended, safe, etc etc etc.
I think if we get the transfer done it will be by ambulance, and that too is funded already.
