Default Mid-trip report: Kananaskis.

Just in the middle of a two week camping/fishing trip in Kananaskis. Weather has been a bit of everything. Yesterday was gorgeous and hot all day. Fished Lower K by the penstock and caught a couple bulls, one beauty 5 lb'ers. Then landed a couple of cutty's. CO game to check us out. Got a written warning for not having one of my barbs crimped enough. He was nice enough about it. Also told me I couldn't use the belly-boat without life jacket and vessel safety equipment. (whistle, rope and bailing bucket) for a BELLY BOAT?! *huh....seems a bit much but okay. So we were limited to how far out we got in the waders alone. The Caddis were in full hatch and they were gobbling them up all around us. Will report more when we come home. (in Canmore restocking). Oh and Wedge pond is so flooded there's no where to throw a fly from shore. Even with waders. All benches and picnic tables almost under water.

Ps: ALL campgrounds are full as of Thursday night.
