Default Winter Walleye

Here are some winter walleye from the hard water. I havent had time to post so here you go. All are alberta fish

Wow already sidetracked this thread .... Not all pics are from Winifred and there is zero reason to assume there was anything illegal being done.

Nice fish that for sharing ignore the internet cops!!

Very different

Winefred Lake (75-4-W4) & tributaries and outlet with 10 km of lake (excluding Grist Lake)
May 15 to Mar. 31 – Walleye limit 0; Pike limit 2 (only 1 under 70 cm and only 1 over 100 cm); Perch limit 15; Lake Whitefish limit 10; Burbot limit 10; Bait Ban.
Apr. 1 to May 14 – CLOSED

Winnifred Lake (118-3-W4) – Open all year – Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Lake Whitefish limit 10.


Some tank walleye right there . But please reframe from posting ice fishing pictures its still summer lol . Just kidding thanks for sharing .

Ha ha.. my bad so can you use bait there? Was under impression you couldn't. .. only no bait for burbo? Only fished it once In summer and once in winter. Did well both times. Summer on deep cranks.. caught 3 over 5lbs. Winter jigs and spoons..

No you were right no bait on Winefred Lake.
Bbj also quoted Winnifred lake regs.... Winnifred doesn't even have walleye.
