Default best open spot in kananaskis with trout

Looking for a spot in kanaskis and easy to catch cutthroat, brown, brook, bored of rainbows wanna try something new

Hey Epic,

Try using the search function.

There are hundreds and hundreds of threads here which tell you just about every spot imaginable, every technique, and pics of what they caught.

You are not going to find (many) people that will tell you where to go, what to use, where the best camping spots are etc because these things are at a premium in this province. Especially if you want to keep all the fish you catch.

Do some research, read the reg's (x10000000) and then hit the trails to find a spot of your own.

There really isn't anyway around it unless you find a mentor.

That's just how it is.

When I was young, which was a long time ago. I just decided that I was going to fish a certain creek, or river. I packed it up and went fishing. How did you make out? from the friends. That place sucks, not going back, was my answer.

Default I figured he was Writing a book

A new Barry Mitchell ,I was hoping for ..a few years ago we fished every
Res south of the trans Canada , gas was cheaper then . Found some fabulous angling ,changed my whole mind set about south alberta fishing . This was pre closures ..so had a few frys .
