Default bow river fishing spots and edible fish

I want to try the Blue ribbon and eat some decent browns

I wouldn't eat anything from the bow below bearspaw.
Browns are everywhere, just check it out, and fish the 'fishy' areas of the stream where the fish are holding. The bow isn't an easy fishery, if you are having a lot of trouble, try hiring a guide for a 1/2 or full day to help you learn.

For browns you can eat, try ghost res.

As for blue ribbon, Pabst aint nothin to write home about.

If you read the reg's you'll see that you can only keep browns under 35cm from the Bow.

That is a tiny fish and not worth the effort.

how bout fish creek, really wish bearspaw reservoir would be open for everyone to fish

do you need a boat offshore to catch fish in ghost lake? its kinda big

at this time of year you can just swim out with a pfd on and fish where ever you want.

just watch out for the wake board boats
