Reddeerhunter do you have any more pics of that bull? Looks like a cranker.

I'm not sure I'm scoring mine right, the palm length is throwing me a bit with the brow palm, but if you include the length of the brow palm from in between the points at the top of the main palm to the middle of the two points on the brow palm, mine grosses 158 and nets 156.

Nice animals everyone!!

Kurt...it's gotta feel good to take a bull like that with your sidekick. One day I hope to do the same. Congratulations to you both.

He's 45" wide on the dot, both palms are 9-2/8 wide, one is 30-2/8 long the other is 32-1/8 (that's if you include the length of the brow palm) and the beams are 7-1/8 and 7-2/8.

Nice!

The one I scored today is 39 wide, palms are 7.5 wide each, left 29 right 27, 21 scorable points and 6 inch circumferences.

This is the third archery moose he's been with me on and once he was with my Dad on a rifle hunt, he's a moose magnet!

That is the correct place to take the measurement from. From the pictures I thought it would actually score better than that. Still a great bull though!

Well after a long 20 year hiatus from archery I took it up again this last spring / summer. Once again thanks to Lost Arrow for getting me set up , tuned , and headed in the right direction. As far as trophy s go he ain't huge, but for me the accomplishment out weighs this guys score by a whole lot. First animal in 20 years with a bow, my first bull elk ever, and first full draw on an animal this fall. Not to Brag but I made a near perfect 30 yrd slight quater away heart shot and he never went 20 yrds.
Never had a camera for field pics which I regret now, but here he is skinned out.

Congrats! Not the size of the horns that matter. Just the fact it was done with a bow

You'll be happy to know no "Hootchie Mommas " were used in the harvesting of this elk. Lol.
