Pics and a video, got lucky! I admit I had to dial in at 45 yards with a couple practice at the bag....took one shot at the egg and just caught it. A couple pics are stills from the video

What did you win out of the kinder surprise? Haha.
Nice shooting lefty!
Just realized I still haven't contributed any pictures to this thread.
I will get out this week sometime with a camera.
Got a bummed shoulder so if I am unsuccessful I can blame it on that and try out the egg idea.

It was actually quite windy....so I am going with luck on this one!

Second pic is the bag at 45 yards....3rd pic is the arrow just after launch in a still from the video....you can see the flex in the arrow shaft.

Excellent shot LC!
Was that a real egg or a cadbury ?

You won, I havn't shot in about a month or more so I did need some
warm up shots also chose to shoot at 40 yards instead of 45 cause
I'm using pins at 20, 30 and 40, hope you don't mind the last min. changes.
Here's how it went...

Egg at target

View at 40 yards

Warm up shot 1

Warm up shot 2

Warm up shot 3

Missed, you won

Fun shot 5 trying to compensate left and center

Fun shot 6 centered but tired out by now

That was cool, will get that egg yet, just need to get back into practice.

Close man! Thanks for the challenge...fun to give it go. Maybe some other folks will want to try...I like the idea of wrapping the target in a bag!

The Twoonie challange...

I hear that some shooters tape a Twoonie on their target for referance..at 25 yards...
If accidentaly hit dead center I hear the outter ring spins violently around the arrow shaft and sounds like a very mad bee...
I also hear that with a hammer and hard base..vice, anvil etc that any hit can be made to look brand new ---even the center piece that is shot out will set into place, dent and all...

Is it illegal to melt or deface Canadian coins?

The Currency Act and The Canadian Criminal Code clearly state that no person shall melt down, break up or use otherwise than as currency any coin that is legal tender in Canada.

Thumbs up 100 yd shooting

Have been fascinated with this thread and love all the pics and friendly competition. Was able to get out to the range today and tried my hand at 100 yd shooting. My HHA doesn't move lo enough, so I simple used the bottom of my pin and the intersection of the level. I shot 3 shot groups.
I am in amazement as to the accuracy of these bows. Here's a few pics of the morning at the Lethbridge Fish and Game range.

First of one of my best groups...was a breeze of about 15-20k.

Then just before I left, It got super calm!
I am happy with this!!!

Great thread and good to see the eggs live to run another day for the most part just please ensure your back drop is safe, one arrow for whatever reason buggers off and the direction down range is not 100 percent safe there could be a serious incident, a bad end to a fun day of shooting. Be safe!

Well did my 100 yd Challenge...time and bad shoulder didn't allow me to do it by dead line but that's ok...wanted to take part...

Didn't want to move sights...but had a 90 pin on bottom of pin guard...my guard allowed me to drill hole thru aluminum and fit a fiber optic thru it...vollia ruff 90 yd pin for playing...also have 7 pins main...

The 100 yd target....my 60 yd outdoor range...took me welll into the parking lot so I had to wait until no one was around...the red arrow shows target...

100 yds was dead mid between the improvised 90 pin and top of Ugly Cookie (WB)... but I could hit target fairly consistently...but group suffered...

I cheated with 90 pin held on top of target to be close to center dot....that I couldn't really see...but was close...center Xdot is approx 3 Inchs

From this angle it looks great...but..

from this angle it doesnt look so good...butI was happy with this group in my circumstances...

If the proverbial 10" pie plate was there centered...I would have missed it a few times... but group should be inside a 10" pie plate...

it was fun...I had to shoot two arrows ...wait five minutes ...shoot two more than couple minutes the last...the first arrow was the worst...which was cheating again...but was fun to play...

who are the winners?

Wow, that's great!

Does this mean it's my turn to host a new challenge and put up a $25 gift card award?
