Even with gps coordinates to a tree like that with bears, I'd never find it. I seem to be bear repellent.

Just got my 6th and final bait out yesterday,April13th. Thats the earliest I have ever gotten baits out as I usually dont start till very end of April. Will be interesting to see if the bears keep the same schedule for hitting the baits or if they hit earlier due to warmer snowfree spring. I'm betting they are pretty close to normal schedule but time will tell. Taking the neighbours two daughters out for their first big game animals .They are 15 and 16, older trying with bow and younger with gun.

I've had bears since April 8th and a couple gooders. Passed two medium sized bears the other night. They are hungry and in great shape from the mild winter! Good luck everyone.

Default 2016 bear

One of the better ones so far, filtered photo for better judgement. Looks like a tank.
Thoughts?

I am just backing up my buddy on this hunt. I just switched bows. Went from a 18 year old browning to a used Hoyt Katana lol so I have not shot it nearly enough to be comfy with it. But here's the pics of one we have coming in. You decide on how big you think. I say 17 inch skull but I am a hard ass on guessing. Will try and post the pics.IMG_1158.jpg
