All my new stuff is gone

Just loaded the canoe onto my truck to go out first thing tommorow morning with the wife. As i was loading my gear i did the checks to make sure i had everything...well i don't. All my new leaders and tippet material, gone. Over half the flies i tied this winter, gone. All my favorite casting gear, gone. Of course i panicked. Then I realized that i left it at my brother in laws in BC. Probably the best thing i've ever done. wonder if anyone else has ever had this issue where you leave your favourite gear (or anything) somewhere, and realized its better off where it is? He is a teen going through teen stuff and it seems fishing helps him along so I figure it was the best thing I've ever forgotten. Let's hope atleast it gets put to good use this year.

That's really nice of you. Fishing is good for a person, absolutely. Make sure you let him know that he's free to use it.
