Default Zone 200 elk

Howdy,
I seem to have been drawn for a Zone 200 Trophy Elk Tag.
Anyone know anything about this zone? Good or bad. I had a Priority 8 on Elk, I applied for zone 108 and the Wainwright Zone, but got drawn for Zone 200. Is this possible?
Anyways, I'm headed to Provost I guess. And I need some assistance.
Thanks.
Robert

I don't have any info on that zone, but if you were drawn for a WMU you don't think you applied for I'd be looking into it - especially with 8 points on the line.

"200" includes WMU 200, 202, 203,2 32, 234 so you have lots of area to hunt and lots of season, Nov 1-Dec 20 and Jan 12 to Feb 21. Great tag. Hunt the battle river from Alliance to Wainwright and you should have no problem. There are some monsters lurking. Should be hanging around the haystacks in the new year too.

Last year a good chunk of the accessable elk were killed in 202 south of Hardisty. There were no bulls killed in 200 last year with the rifle and I think it was only two with a bow.

Which season did you apply for in 108? I got drawn with a P8 but in the 3rd season....my first choice....

The 200 zones have some truly huge bulls no doubt.....I have seen a few herds north of Killam area and saw one closer to Wainwright a couple years back.....

Thanks DeerHunter and All,
I did some checking, and you are right, I can hunt Zone 200, 202, 203, 232, 234 with that Tag. I put in for Zone 108 and Zone 234, and when I called into the Results line, I was told I had drawn the Zone 200 Tag. I didn't know then that it included all those other Zones, so now I am happy to have drawn. Nothing to do but go scouting now.
Thanks for the help everyone.
