We fished August of 2013 , fishing was slower than when we go in early July. The water had alot of green algae and more weeds in the water. We found the water cleaner without algae at very far north end, and fishing was better. We caught some nice 6 to 8 lb pike, with a lot of hammer handles in between. The water was alot higher this year, we didnt have to lift the leg to cross the second sand bar.
