Default which flasher

I am looking at buying a flasher and can't decide between the marcum or the vexilar. Don't want to spend over 500.

Marcum it is then, keep an eye out for year end deals popping up soon at all the major retail stores.

Marcum all come with the nice case where vexilar doesn't. Marcum have pretty much best bang for buck

I picked up a Marcum 3 at Christmas. I have used it a few times since and it has worked great. Easy to identify your lure and fish as well. It was the price point I could personally justify and provided more features over the vexilar. My friend fishes with an older vexilar 8 and works just as good. I thought the zoom feature on the Marcum would be worth having but I have only used it a couple times now - not really worth it until you are deeper than 20 feet and even then quite capable to fish 20 ft deep and not be in zoom mode.

Default Check stock

It would be a good sale if they had things in stock. Not much around Alberta.

I was at wholesale south yesterday. Only had the top end models. Went to cabelas south and they had way more selection and were all on sale. Ended up with the Marcum LX-3TCi. Can't wait to try it tomorrow!

Go to or call the reel doctor. I was there yesterday and he had a older lowrance one there. $200.00 is what he is asking.
