Default ice advisory

Hi Wayne, Which Island Lake are they talking about? The one north of Westlock or the one north west of Athabasca or is there an Island Lake south of Edm.

Thanks

Default Keho

I'm heading to Keho in the morning. Looks like every lake around there has advisories. Hopefully it's ok.

All of the ice is going to be compromised in this area with the way the weather has been lately so be very careful on accessing the lake, should be a little thin on the edges and a little better farther out, but maybe inconsistent all over.

Please remember ice thickness maybe there, the quality may not be there.

It was marginal for driving on a week ago down south, 1 week later and some more warm weather and now we have warnings about it.
After 7 days of the weather we have had, plus 10 to 15 degrees and maybe not freezing overnite, yup. Makes a big difference this time of year.😳 Wasn't a big concern last week.
