Default Whats your Hunting arrow total weight!
Howzit gang..

Im doing a personal write up/Survey on todays Arrow weights...

We have seen some trends thru out the years from big/long to almost too short and light arrows...

I have a couple hundred shooters specs already and the average was trending towards much heavier arrows than we have seen as a norm in past..however this poll was down it the USA...

the top two results were

44% in the 400-450gr total weight arrow
28% in the 350-400gr " "

the remainder was spread out higher and lower the third highest was over the 500Gr mark which was surprising


so out of curiousty I would like to see the average here in ALBERTA...
I will post the results..

Arrow Weight with head.... 475
Arrow spine.................... Easton FMJ 340
Head weight................... 100

Proposed for next season:

Bow Poundage Weight...... 70
Arrow Weight with head.... 500/525
Arrow spine.................... Easton FMJ 300
Head weight................... 100/125

What I'm proposing for next season is dependant on which weight of BH works best.

I am switching bows this winter so it will change a bit. Faster bow and will drop weight to ~62 lbs. Hopefully I can keep arrow speed around 280 without dropping arrow weight.

ce mach5 350
100gr tip

years past have all ranged from 364 to no more than 420 grains but most seasons from 364 to 385
