You can hit up Rock Island if you go to Calling. It's only 15 min up the highway and the Eye's are healthy!

Default Algae on Calling

Was there yesterday...here's a sample of what Calling looks like. Not like this everywhere...west side a little cleaner but not much.

Don't worry too much about the Algae. River is running very strong and the lake flushes out the top water every day. Lots of rain so lot of flow. That is what keeps up the water quality.

Hard to escape SOME ALGAE in alberta lakes. Bowl basins stagnate and get raunchy. Calling drains, so pray for rain and wind and cooler weather.

As for the fishing, what's there to say?
