Yeahhh!!! Awesome

Opened my purple Martin doors last night and tonight 2 males and 2 females. Pray they stick around. Luv to get a colony or two going. Luv your house. See a good winter project coming up

It is hard to find a decent set of plans for the Taverner style houses. The one I used needed more than one modification to make things fit. Takes a day or two to build allright

The barn swallows were late showing up this year, finally came in this week. Happy to see the cheeky critters back in the quonset and teasing the dickens out of the cats. Haha

Just plant some cottonwoods and let them mature for a few decades. Here's a couple of pics I took at Carseland Wyndham Park this weekend. The birds love this place. Cottonwoods definitely bring them and many other species in.

Will look those up and see what i can do with it. The good news is first year with purple Martin house. Had a pair in the first few days. As of now all my houses are full but one. Man this could b come addicting

I’m plum full with 60 pairs of Martins here. You’re hitting the nail on the head in regards to being addicting. I obsess over my Martins! I really do wish they ate mosquitos though.
