Nice try davey boy.

I would like to see some pictures from the Crowsnest pass on Tuesday posted that resemble the pics posted by the O. P.
At one time we did have that kind of mess but as i said its not the case anymore.
Enforcement has really helped.

Who in this thread said they were happy about what the OP posted? Are you even in the right thread?

Well I must say I was out bush camping last week end in a spot where I go hunting. Someone had obviously been there for a bit prior to us. Now I'm talking months ago if not the fall.. However they as well were pigs. NOT to the extreme of that video. There was most defiantly a female there.. My wife put on gloves & picked up a dozen.. Yes a dozen female pads, & toilet paper, tinfoil, tin cans, ect... Wife & I ALWAYS leave our campsites clean!!! I don't understand how people can just leave garbage. I really don't get it... Very pathetic that a handful of people have to wreck it for the majority!!!

I've lived and worked in this same area as where this film was shot for over 30 years.
I can tell you first hand that 99.9% of all the campers that visit this area each long weekend are great.
Yes, the majority of them have quads, dirt bikes and related toys but they follow and respect the rules. They also clean up their campsite and take their garbage when they leave.
However, every long weekend we also get that .1% of people, usually from the cities, usually all under the age of 20, that have the big bush party and in there minds, it's an absolute free for all with no rules.
What was shown in the film is the end result of one of those parties.
It's not new, it's been the same thing every May long weekend for the last 30+ years.
As for the segment with the muddy cut line and the blame on the off roaders, that's total crap and nothing more than a cheap shot at the off road guys. Those cut line's have been chewed up by bulldozers, bed trucks, quads, dirt bikes, rig crews and seismic for the last 50 years. There isn't any wildlife calling that part of the cut line home.

Yea, but it's easier to blame the ohv's and random campers.

Exactly right for my area as well. The winning part of the story is the amount of people that voluntarily clean up other people’s mess has gone up. There was a time when I used to organize (and pay for) some of our crew guys to cleanup the garbage left behind by campers every year. The clean up was a yearly thing that had been going on for 20 years. Last time that was needed was around 2010.

Agreed. Campers like that are just gross and irresponsible. Another reason I don't camp on may long.

And that only took a chance of Govt who has the balls to enforce the laws against the entitled.

Damn what a concept

Best thing I saw was a CO walk up to a bunch of folks, made them clean the whole area up or he was going to write tickets etc....oh yeah they had every excuse in the books, not mine, didn't do it etc...four hours later cleaned up....
