And if you all can come up with another 28 songs to
putt on to the 2nd Disc.

That would be a great recording.

What would you like hear ?

Something you havn't heard in a while.

Post it up.

looking at the choice of songs you like it probably should be "streets of Bakersfield", not baker street.

Yup I spell the way it sounds right or wrong.

Makes more sentant iz that way.

Gerry Rapherty - Baker Street is what I was thinking of.

I gotta dream about buyin' some land.
Payed off the dues and the one night stands.
And there you getta long, with your voice and your song:
And you forget about every-thing.

One more year and you will be happy.
One more year and your are so happy.
But your rollin' -- your a rollin' stone.

You used to think that it so easy.
The sun is shinein' it was so easy.
Now your goin', your gowin' home.

Falling in love with with you is..
It's easy .. Like taking candy from a baby.

Buss Stop from the Hollies had lyrics far too complicated for
me to recite.

Good stuff just the same.

Another song I really like that few others do is
Hold on tight to your dreams - ELO

This song gets me fired up weather I'm sanding down a peice of furnature
to refinish it in the basement or I'm simply listening to rock and roll and drinkin'
That is a great song to pick me and make me feel good.

It's one of those songs you can't help but sing along.

Other slugs don't like it so much all they can see is the Maxwell House coffee
camercial.

Dicks.

Sad to say I'm old enough to have heard all of those songs and can name the artist for 75% of them.

Not many that'd be on my playlist but variety is the spice of life as they say.

That's exactly why put the list together.

I have hundreds of CDs but have none of these single/songs.

Just wanted to put a list together of stuff I have not heard in a long
time.

Varitey, but mostly happy stupid stuff.

A whole lot of it is far better to listen to than anything made in the last
10 years.

That's a good list Tony.

Only one that's questionable is Amie by Pure Prairie League
That one sticks in your head for 3 days later and it got over
played on the radio till it drove you nuts.

Other than that it's a great list, thanks.

For some reason the Almond Brothers made me think of
Ghost Riders in the Sky.
Johnny Cash + Willy Nelson etc.
Very cool.
You could follow that up with
A long dark vale.
Joan Baez.
Then a little more up beat..
Little Red Riding Hood - Sam the Sham and the Pharrows.
