I had mine (1) molar done in Sylvan 3 years ago, my Doc said he seen a few that turned out to be horror stories. In Palm Springs this winter we met a few Americans that had dental implant work done across the border from San Diego, they said they had no issues, prices very reasonable and would go back, unfortunately I have no names of clinics that I can pass on. Do your research & wish you all the best.

How many do you need? its financially worth it if you need multiples. My single made ZERO sense. to head south and the service I got up here second to none. It took a entire year and one broken heart to get done but I am all wrapped up now and it feels great.

Don’t know what you quote it for. But I was at the dentis they said run about $4000 each (2500 for the surgery insert implant and 1500 for the titianium tooth) and insurance don’t cover implants but they might cover partial tooth .

This is the dentist I use in Puerto Vallarta.

Actually just got back the other day from PV. Spent a morning at this dentist getting some dental work done. For what I got done it cost me about $80/tooth and needed 16 teeth done. Same work here was around $300/tooth. Well worth it. That wasn’t the whole reason we went but the extra saving was nice.

I've never personally but had a couple co workers that did with great results and a quarter of the cost, plus a vacation.

Los Algodones across the border from Yuma
My wife has had three implants done in Mexico, all with excellent results. Her most recent was last month and that implant cost $1,400 USD all in (including crown). The quote she got in Canada was $6,000 CDN. We see Dr. Yilka Gomez and have every confidence in her. She is very efficient and her practice is clean & modern. We highly recommend. Other members of our family also have had implants done by her and we haven't heard a negative comment from any of them.

I’m getting my front top tooth done right now. Was told it is a complicated one.
First visit was choosing implant or bridge. Second prep for removal with bone scan. Third was removal and bone graft and gave me a retainer with a tooth in it to keep spacing. 3-4 months after check to see if healed enough. Same time they made some tool to place the implant. Fourth they place the implant. 3-4 months the Fifth they put the imbument in the implant make the crown. Sixth they put the crown on and done.
Quoted 10k thought if I went down it would be at least 3 times so 2-3 weeks missed work and the cost to fly down and accommodations. Might have been cheaper but a lot of leg work to get it done too. Was thinking if there is any issues would be nice that was the clinic was in my home town as well.

Exactly. If I was dealing with multiples I would have taken a longer look at going south. But for one, Staying here made moe sense. My total was $6,000 with a bone graft.

Many have asked for experiences on work done down there. Always hear the "my dentist tells of horror stories". I am sure things have gone bad in Mexico but i could tell you many horror stories with crappy dentists here. I am thinking that the quality of dentists is actually better in Mexico than some of the hacks in Alberta. Has anyone had a bad experience in Mexico?

Maybe it can be done in one trip to Mexico if it's a straight-forward job, but there always seem to be complications that require multiple visits and procedures when done in Alberta.
In order to just prepare my bottom jaw to accept a final full upper denture (on 4 implants), I needed 3 visits to my regular dentist for root canals, then a visit to a specialist for 'directional drilling' of 2 more root canals, then 2 more visits to my regular dentist for crowns. By the time the dust's settled, over $30,000 spent in the past year for a full upper denture on 4 implants, and a 3 tooth lower denture 'bridge, on 2 more implants. I should have moved to Mexico!
I think I'm going to retire my big-bore rifles and stick with low recoil from here on in!
