Clan the fridge and try putting in a bag of charcoal. It might absorb the smell.

Elbow grease. Strip it to nothing, clean everything with real hot water and soap or bleach, and make sure there is not anything in the water trap in the bottom. There is a tray for water, may be mungy.

Charcoal or onions. Soak up that stank like nobody's buisness.

You can try 95% of the above suggested then do it properly after none of them work.
Buy a 1L bottle of a quaternary disinfectant from any Jan San supply house and spray it on all surfaces. The odor will be gone when it dries, the bacteria causing the odor will be dead and your fridge will be sanitized and disinfected.

Molds also grow on the rubber seals around the door.
Disinfect mold with 1 tablespoon of chlorine bleach mixed with 1 quart of water.

Nothing quite like using a poisonous, corrosive to metal and skin, rubber seal degrading, substance like bleach to kill odors and mold in an rv fridge.
Great for killing the ebola virus on a cement floor though, or on the off chance it ever pops up in your rv fridge.

A long time ago an old timer told me he used Vanilla extract for cleaning coolers and fridges when they weren’t being used. I’ve used it ever since and it’s always worked great for me.

I used a 50/50 solution of bleach and water, and sprayed the whole inside - walls, crispers , freezer cabinet and all from a Windex-type spray bottle, then closed the door for 2 days so the bleach smell wouldn't get out.
Then I rinsed thoroughly with clean warm water on a towel, then wiped with a dry towel. Then I left the fridge and freezer doors open for a couple more days to air it out.
Worked OK.
Hope this helps.

Blows me away how many still reach for bleach having no clue about the negatives. Not a cleaner at all.
