60hp evinrude tiller for sale
I am posting for a buddy. I had a mid 90's 60hp evinrude tiller on my boat and blew the number 2 cylinder. very common on those engines with VRO oil injection system. I replaced my engine with a newer 75hp tiller. he decided to take the old one and have it rebuilt then try and find a good boat to match it up with. finding a good used tiller boat with no engine or a blown engine here in Alberta that will accomodate a 60 hp engine is near impossible. so the option is to sell this now (or find a boat for it.)
driving to Manitoba or Minnesota isn't an option............
It was bored out in all 3 cylinders and has brand new rods, bearings and pistons. It has power trim, electric start and even the long arm factory tiller handle. its a great motor now and with long arm you get great leverage for steering and it will fit on any boat.
I advised him to remove the factory VRO (variable ratio oiling) system so you'll need to mix the fuel and oil at a permanent 50:1 ratio.
If interested in the motor or you read this far and have a boat and trailer that would work please respond. must be a tiller fishing boat and not looking for any major rebuild projects.
