Whitemud Lake

Fished Whitemud (close to Newbrook AB) on Monday morning. Good steady action. All pike. We were catching lots in shallow- like 7-8 ft of water, in the heavier weeds. Only wanted 5 of diamonds black. Between 3 of us, we probably caught 40 fish in 3 hours. The biggest was a 7 lber, couple of 4 lbers. Not a great lae for big fish- but lots of fun to catch a lot of fish.

I went and checked it out last year, but I wasn't sure if it actually had fish in it. I guess I do now, thanks!
