Hey WM!

I owned a 2003 Johnson. I mixed mine at 50:1 which is the standard recommendation. There is another consideration. If you use the motor just for travel to fishing spots (i.e. full out) and then turn it off to cast mostly, the guide says to go with 25:1 (more rich). If you do a lot of trolling like I do then the 50:1 is better for that.

Cheers!

Yep 50:1 is right and buy a quality TCW3 oil, not a place to save a few pennies. Great little motor, will last a long long time if you do your bit.
