Got in a few hours ago from Willmore. My first trip there, such beautiful country. Nice to be hunting Bighorn a little further from the beaten path. Went in on horse back Aug 22 to a base camp then spiked out from there. Quite the experience, some good, some bad. But I got to see some amazing country. As for the hunting. Saw more ewes, lambs and banana rams than I can count, seemed every bowl had sheep. Nothing legal or even close to legal. Some shots in the next valley so I know there are Rams in there. Unfortunately I couldn't stay in any longer as I have limited ability to be away from work and family for too long. Still have a few days at the end of October so hopefully I can get out one more time for Bighorn. Hard to be a sheep hunter and live so close to the Sask border! ha ha
Thanks for the photos. We were in a few days prior to the open but had to come out a bit earlier than yourself for work reasons. I hated to leave and cant wait to go back in again. Nice to go to someplace that really feels like wilderness.

Great pics and thanks for sharing them.
Once again I couldn't arrange time to return to the Willmore. Hoping to get way back in there again next year though.

Sorry to hear, I was waiting for a trip report from you to be coming later. Guess it will have to wait until next year.
