Default Moose in 524

just wondering if anyone had a calling season tag in 524
( Chinchaga river basin) and if so, what was your success like.
did you see alot of moose
alot of bulls ?

I have a late season tag

I am heading up for 6 days Nov 7

I am hearing its warm up there and no snow !!

I have been lucky over the years up there with 3 nice bulls, only because I got drawn elsewhere in other years.
I have never gone further than cranberry compressor station road without scoring

anyone have any comments ?

When is the last time you hunted the Chin? Sounds like you had it easy....

I can count on 3 fingers the amount of bulls I have seen up there off the roads over the last 3 trips up there. We quaded into prime spots and called in and shot 2 bulls last fall. Had about 4-5 bulls respond over the course of our hunt which was about 10 days. We hunted South of the main haul road (km 78) and we were way back in the bush.

Lots of new cutblocks, cutlines, etc getting put in up there over the past few years.

White stuff is on the ground, and -13 for High Level tonight.
Warm weather was last week.

Good luck.
