Default Ideas for next weekend fishing trip.

So my gf has announced that for my birthday next weekend she wants to take me on a fishing trip somewhere within about 8 hours of Lethbridge. We'll be taking her boat and camper so I was wondering what do you guys think is a good place to go for a weekend of fishing and camping? Was thinking Diefenbaker or maybe something like one of the interior BC lakes.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh I'm well aware of the gem I've found. She's a keeper!

I like to fish Walters and pike but bass are always a blast too.

Day 1&2: Invermere lake for bass. Hotsprings in the evening. Make out in boat.
Day3&4: Whiteswan lake for trout. The back country hotsprings by the road. Make out in boat.
Day 5&6: Premier lake by Skookumchuck. Campfire make out for something different..

You have a GF with a camper and a boat and she is treating you to a weekend of fishing? You fool! Forget fishing and take her to city hall or to vegas and marry her before someone else does.

Either way, we want to see some pics.

That's not a bad idea. Is there good fishing in Vegas?
