Whats a good pair for just looking at birds /marmets etc,that wont break the bank?

I really like my Pentax. I find they are better for my eyes than mid-priced binos and they were sub-$200 at London Drugs. Also much better than bushnell and cheapo binos up to and including the same price range.

You need to tell us your budget. I bought a very nice set of Vortex Diamondback 10x50 and love them!
I would suggest to go to the bino store and try a few pairs.
