Thumbs up School field trip photos

Took a class to the Bow habitat station to fish in the pond last October. Happened to be a very cold day but the students didn't notice and fished away like crazy! I was really impressed with them. Most of them have never had a chance to fish and this was completely new to them.

Big thanks to Bass Pro Shops for supplying equipment for the trip. This year I hope to take a class to PCR.

We only caught four and released all but just the ability to see the fish and watch them swim up to the lure was so much fun for them.

Nice to see the kids out and enjoying themselves and you deserve a big thank you/well done for doing it.

Question for the OP, did Bass Pro supply enough gear for the trip? Reason I ask looks like lots of kids standing around waiting to wet a line.

No, I had to supplement. Kids purchased their own rods and reels and we practiced casting in the school yard. Bass Pro did donate 200$ worth of merchandise but much of it will be used this season at PCR.
