Default Converting camper to shanty

I picked up a 1971 14' bumper tow camper and plan on converting it into an ice fishing shack. This thing is built like a brick sh@t house!, lol. Gonna gut it out and start with just the shell, put in a wood stove, fold down bunks, i was hoping some of you guys have seen one or even converted one yourselves, any "DOs" and "DONTs" would be appreciated- especially in the "skirting-in" methods. I plan on towing it to Lesser Slave (Joussard) , putting it on a set of homemade skis (aluminum), and once I get to my honey hole I would drive it on some long wooden skids and level it, i would like to skirt it in some how, any ideas guys?? Hard water season is coming. Cheers
