Default Bow river spawning fish

Its fall which means the brookies, browns, lakers and rockies will go up and spawn. Do they enter tribs like jp creek or the lower elbow? Should be aggressive to take anything. (rapala's, spoons, spinners, streamers, egg imitations)

I would tend to agree about leaving them be at this time of year. However, there is nothing wrong with wetting a line if you want to though, it's just a personal choice.

If you are out wading be very careful of the "reds", areas where fish have spawned. These contain next years fry and can be easily damaged. They'er sometimes hard to spot but this is what they look like.

I have an explanation on my Blog

This is a great post! Instead of just complaining you gave some actual advice that helps both the angler and the fish. Way to set an example.

Season is still open do what you feel like, just saying how I go about it.

Observed a fellow on elbow river going nuts over 2 pairs of bull trout, these fish were within arms reach trying to get it on, but this fella just wouldn't give em break. He didn't hook any, but what a sad sight. They were decent size for bulls, but sometimes you should just be happy that you had opportunity to observe their mating ritual, hold that as a trophy catch.
