Talking Southern Alberta Local update...

Hi all! I apologize for being so slow but I took on a temporary job with Elections Alberta which should be done early next week, at which point I will start contacting the ATA members on my long list! I have had good response from the PMs I sent out to those AO members who have shown interest, which makes me think we may need a meeting venue bigger than someone's living room! I have sent a message to the ATA wondering if there is any financial help to start up a local and am waiting for a reply. If any of the other locals' executives read this, maybe they can tell us how they went about things. Once I have a good idea as to how many want to come to the inaugural meeting, then we have to pick an agreeable meeting site. I am hoping we can get something set up for later in October.
Thanks for your continuing patience!

LOL Now I have no idea what ATA OR your reply means. But it sounds like something the general public doesn't need to be concerned about or involved in. Those in the know ... know.

It's not often that you are wrong Rob but THIS time, I think, you are...I've probably been around the ATA, just as long or longer than you have and it''s just the situation, that has existed, the last while, that concerns the whole membership and to date the spiral appears to continue. You say , I am not a fan, by your description, maybe not, but I do care deeply and am not afraid to voice MY opinion, right or wrong as it may be. Too many, do not do as I do, for fear of being labelled as I am.. So be it...
Should this SNAFU, ever clear itself, I would like to be the first to stand up and say - " I was wrong", but until that day comes...I'M from Missouri...
