Default Package for Suffield elk hunt?

So my son has his tag for next weeks cow elk hunt in Suffield...it was my understanding that he would be recieving some sort of orientation package in the mail? Is this not the case? I understand that you need to show up early at the base each morning for a briefing but I also thought you got something in the mail. Am I wrong?

Nothing will come in the mail. Everything you need to know is on www.mywildalberta.ca in the search box type suffield elk.

This is for one of the late season hunts that we had to apply for back in June, not one of the cull hunts that was just announced.

I would read all the threads on the Suffield hunt. I think there are about 4-5 active ones right now. I have read them all as I also will be there next week. I have not seen too much for conflicting information from members that have been to the base for these hunts in the past and then posted replies of their experiences.

There is plenty of conflicting information from guys that have not been to site! For the guys that have been there, they usually mention in their reply the fact they have been there. Pay attention to those replies and you will be fine!
