Thanks guys!

All of those examples you have given (Daniel Defense, RRA, Bushmaster, etc) are ALL Restricted....
ALL AR15/M16 Variants are Restricted or Prohibited.
If you want to hunt with a "Black" Rifle in
ALBERTA, here are some of your NON Restricted Choices:
- Robinson Arms XCR L (6.8SPC, 7.62x39mm)
- Robinson Arms XCR M (.308)
- Kel-Tec RFB Bullpup (.308)
- M305 or M1A (.308) ... it's "black" if it has a synthetic stock... right??
Some of the more "Red" rifle Non Restricted "Evil" looking guns legal for big game in Alberta are:
- Valmet Hunter (.243, 7.62x39mm, .308, 30-06)
- CZ-858 (7.62x39mm)
You have other cool choices if you want something for varmints only, or punching paper, lots more available in Non Restricted .223, but cannot be used for big game.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
