No there is no need,very seldom I ever fish the same spot.i refuse to keep fishing the same spots so I don't educate them to the point were they won't touch anything.all the spots I fish this winter,I will not fish em again until next winter.

Beautiful fish as always Mr. Coulee serious dedication and time spent understanding these fish certainly pays off. As far as the tagging comment, if you get good pictures of these large fish believe it or not each one is completely unique and if you study the patterns on the markings it is fairly easy to tell if you have a repeat catch. Thanks for sharing SC.
