Default Fisherman dies at eagle lake

Just read on the general forum a fisherman fell hit his head and died at Eagle by Strathmore yesterday.

Ice is very slippery after all the warm weather so please be careful. Thoughts and prayers go out to a fellow fishermans family.

Very sad to hear...

My wife slipped and fell out of the truck one outing and smacked her head on the running boards...bled a little, but she was a trooper...stayed out fishing for the day. It could have been much worse though. Ever since then we have the Kahtoola micro spikes in the bag.

My Condolence to the family!

Very sad to hear that a life was lost just like that. Heart felt condolences to family and friends
Please be very careful and educate people about clear ice safety.

He died of a heart attack not a hit on the head.
He was a good friend of a friend of mine, but I knew him as well.
