Arrow Outboard Graveyard

Hello all,

Does anyone know of an "outboard graveyard" in calgary/surrounding?
I know most members here are from Edmonton and northwards, input still appreciated.

Used to have a few graveyards in ontario nearby, 40-50 whole outboards and misc parts in the 'back 40'.

Looking for parts on an older yamaha F80 4 stroke.

If anyone has any leads please let me know!

lanny

The marine/boat shop at the north end of gatzes ave red deer is a bit of a graveyard. Not huge but lots of project materials.

Don't know if this is the model you need. You weren't all that specific. It's a older yamaha 80 hp 4 stroke hope that helps. The guy selling is a good fella and could use the money. He's got a bad back.

Gotcha... I would consider checking bc as well as Nova Scotia kijiji.... There's lots of parts places they can always ship what you need

Even the us.... Luckily it's not gun parts!

One would think that with the number of boats in AB, there would be a "graveyard" or two, but not so. Parts for older boats - early 90's - are both pricey and difficult to find. Kijiji is probably the best bet in and around Calgary and the one in Red Deer is worth checking out. Not much market for "older" these days as it seems most want to buy new or nearly new. Paying boat mechanics is also getting cost prohibitive. There is one south of Vernon, just north of Kelowna that has one if you are out that way.

Make a list of the parts you need. A friend of mine back home runs a auto/marine shop. They service lots of outboards and stern drives I'll give him the list he might be able to find some or all of it for you. A lot of the lobsterman use yamaha for their reliability.
