Yup! No problems so far, though I shoot it sparingly...

Just make sure the front of the quill is smooth / tapered and has a good bead of glue on the tip so is slides thru the whiskers easily.

Like Pete said...we shot hundreds out geese hunting...no problems except if the front of the feather doesnt have a good bead of glue...

Do you use Flu Flu's just for wing shooting or for any small game / close range shot application?

Just curious

Anything air borne...lol..they can be used for anything but the concept is that the design shoots normal out to 50-60 yards [ Pending on how many feathers ] then slows down drascailly to fall to earth..easy to find...
.where a normal fletched arrow keeps flying into the next county...lol

Fletch your flu flu and after it's dry run a coat on each side of the flu flu and front and back and it is tough as nails

FYI..For those that fletch there arrows...We carry... as most pro shops do... very bright colored real turkey feathers [red, yellow and white,] that are a foot long and can be cut into three equal 4" vanes...most use six vane flu flu's so two foot long feathers are needed...the first three are fletched as normal...than simply move fricton fit nock and fletch inbetween the first three for a six vane...
very inexpensive and effective..

If timing is correct there will be no issues...even with toiming off the Flu Flu made of real feathers is very forgiving on rests..

I would think there would be no issues..
