Default Accessories

I have found that cheaping out on accessories usually just leads me to being unhappy with them, selling them at a loss and upgrading to what I wanted in the first place. That said I understand big time about being on a budget and trying to get the most bang for your buck.

As said Trophy Ridge is worth a look, their Static stabs are nice, as are their sights, i just was not a fan of the pin set up.

For sights on a budget I think its hard to beat Tru-glo, nice sized metal housing with wrapped fibers and micro-adjust models will run you under 100 bucks. Like this: http://www.truglo.com/archery-sights...06E6F08F4B71C1. Bass pro usually has a good selection.

A 6" B-Stinger stab will run you $65. I run an 8" B-stinger Sport Hunter Xtreme, really like it, but the 6" would have probably been a better choice for me. http://www.b-stinger.com/product-cat...+Hunter+Xtreme. Bass Pro and The Calgary Archery Center have a few in, jim-bows can order them.

Lots of quiver options, do you want quick detachable or fixed? On a budget look at Kwikee quivers or maybe Fuse? You can get into a quiver for 40-60 bucks. Wholesale carries Kwikee.

As far a rest goes, the sky is the limit here and should probably get the most attention, you can shoot your bow with-out a stab or quiver for now or least with very cheap ones but the rest is not somewhere to cut corners. That said for 100 or less you can get a decent rest. I think a Power shot whisker biscuit is a great rest, simple and full containment. Also have a look at at the NAP Apache rests if you are looking for a drop away on a budget. I prefer the bisquit myself.

You didnt mention them but I toss it in anyway and talk about arrows. You can get some cheap and decent arrows from Easton (Powerflights) or Beaman ICS hunter. But bang for your buck I think it is very hard to beat Gold Tip arrows, great price and very tough, Jim-bow's has great prices on Gold-Tip.

Good luck with your bow I know I felt like a kid waiting for Christmas after I ordered mine earlier this year, it was a very long 2 week wait.

X2 get what you want now. You will save money in the end. Take a look at the lower priced spot hoggs and qad rests. I have a black tight spot quiver for sale and I'm headed to calgary this weekend if your interested let me know.

I would say if you are on a budget, save some money on the rest by sticking with trophy ridge wisker biscuit. They are cheap, reliable and have proven themself over and over. You can't cheap out on drop away, they will cause you grief. 50$

Sight, I would go with Montana Black Gold. they are a bit expensive but worth the investement. And not as expensive as Spot Hog, also a good choice. 130$

Peep sight are around 8 to 12$.

Should leave you 70 for quiver and stab wich is not much but also not as critical as a good rest and sight. You can always look for used item on the forum also.

If it's your first bow you will also need a release, there goes an other 100$ plus arrows?

Good luck and have fun with your new toy.
