Near Fort Lauderdale there is a place called Hallandale Beach. There is a marina there with a charter boat fleet. Not sure what you are looking to catch. There may be some sailfish around but it can be spotty. I would recommend asking the captains what species they fish for. I don't know if he is still running out of there but I always had good luck on a boat called the Absolute. The captains name is Joe. He has an excellent boat and knows his business. He likes to sight fish for Mahi under floating grass mats in the ocean beyond the reef. It is the most fun I have ever had on an ocean charter. His first mate was a former CFL player. Good guys who know what they are doing.
