Cypress Hills Area Lakes

Anyone been ice fishing Reesor, Spruce Coulee or Michelle and having any success or at least seeing signs of fish making it through the winter. Concerned about winterkill with the prolonged winter and snow cover. Thanks in advance for any info.

I was a Michele about a month ago. The fish seemed to be doing well.
I think we should be OK for awhile.
However, if the crappy weather prolongs we may be in trouble.

Thanks Mark. Haven't been out that way this winter. How's the snow levels, will the lakes fill up this spring?

I was at Michelle about 2 months ago for the fist time, i was amazed how much snow there is in that area, fishing was not good

last year i work there wind turbine project. i fish Spruce Coulee a lot of walleye.
