Default Eskimo Quick Fish tent - red to black for heat absorption

I have one that is all red.
Anyone “dyed” the roof black to absorb heat?

Can't sense any humour in this reply^^^^^^ but wearing your jeans inside out would make sense too? Hard to figure out the belt loops

Yes the inside is black but rubberized. It would be too difficult to do and lose the inside pockets.

Rit -Tiedye is what i was thinking.

Just thinkin out loud here...Instead of irreversibly dyeing the original material could you maybe find some suitable dense, black fabric, and adhere it to the tent with adhesive Velcro or whatever? Or, you could cut out your top/side pieces and get them sewn into essentially a slip on cover, and add a zipper to match the existing door.
