Default Question fo Turkey Hunters

Hey turkey hunters, I have a quick couple questions. Do you hang your birds, like hanging a deer or elk? If so, how long do you hang them for?
Thanks guys.

I don’t, I breast them out and take the legs or if I have time I fully pluck and clean the carcass for a full bird. Don’t hang it, never felt the need to.

For some reason the hunting community has lost the knowledge of aging birds.

I typically let my birds (waterfowl, upland) rest for a few days before freezing or cooking. There is a definite difference in texture for the better when birds are aged a few days to get rid of rigor mortis.

I haven't tried longer aging for flavor, but I suspect those of the past were doing something right.

I have left wild turkey in a walk in cooler for a couple days.
I regularly hang geese and cranes 3 days.
Going longer would hurt as I have left( meaning forgot and went to the city) a sharptail for 6 days one time.
