Putting a face to a name, puppy draft day

Well we have a face to go with the name, this would be Dash, he comes home in 5 days. I guess you would call him an extra large munsterlander.

It looks like he will be big for the breed and has a layed back personality. Probably not the best for a pointing dog, he is a versatile and he will do as much waterfowling as upland hunting size and calmness could be very useful. And since pet season is longer than hunting season a calmer dog would fit better in the house.

BTW the breeder last I heard still had one more puppy for a good hunter home.

Good looking pup, my daughters did the naming for our springers and they did a good job. Showed them your pup and Dash is a great name.

He looks good, I was shooting pigeons for one of his kin last Saturday, and he did just fine.

Remember its not the breed it is the training. Have fun. Join a club.

At this point I have joined NAVHDA,and thinking about the calgary pointer club as well. Does the Calgary Pointer club have training grounds. It seems the NAVHDA is more towards Red Deer not too far for a once a month training day. but not something I would want to do on a weekly basis.
