I like mine. A bit noisy but some mods remedied that. Has more jump than the rhino for sure but there are other brands that have a lot of jam if that's what you are wanting. Pretty solid unit.

I really like mine. It does a pile of work and have had no issues with it. a bit noisy in the cab but that my only complaint. Way better than the ranger I had before this one.

I don't own one yet but ordered one today. I buddy bought one last year and I liked it so much that I decided to get one.

The noise issue has been resolved for this year, there is a kit you can get from Yamaha that goes underneath the box and closes off the gap between the box and the cab. It seems to make a world of difference.

Same as the rest of em....driving style and tires will make or break you...cut thru and you sink.

Ps. Just as a prediction, someone will chime in shortly how their " pol am on da" unit is the best ever and how they can mow thru anything and everything without even starting the engine which is what makes it so great on fuel too.

Ya that kit helps. I had done something similar with stall mat to help and I also welded a silencer can which really made the difference.

I liked the ranger as well but I am fairly tall I find there is just more leg room in the Viking.

You sit of fairly high and straight up and down in the ranger where as the Viking is more of a lower and laid back seating position similar to a razor.

We have one at the farm, power steering I must say is pretty sweet.

I found it quieter than the Rhino

Nice unit, a little wide. Trails are slowly getting smashed wider around my place...

I wish Yamaha would put a bigger engine in a sxs though.....

I had a prowler 1000cc prior. I was happier with the fuel mileage I have now, but there are a few times when that speed was handy. Man I could cut off a cow in a hurry. Oh well. I wouldn't trade back.
