Got myself and Wifey (semi) matching Grohmann knives for Xmas. They both feel fantastic. Can't wait to try them out in the field.

Both blades are treated to a Rockwell hardness of 62, and should be relatively easy to sharpen.

Scabbards are by Larry Parsons.

I'm very pleased.

Very nice looking but I'm guessing closer to 500 a piece than 200

Default $200 beauty

If I were to stick to the $200 budget I initially set out, I think this is the direction I would head.

Damn Phil that handle is wild. I could stare into it for hours. Once again it looks like you did an amazing job!

Hi guys, made this one earlier this fall. More of a hunter / general purpose style.
CPM 154, 8 3/4" OAL, 4 1/4" blade, Golden Amboyna burl handle, hidden tang, stainless guard with African Blackwood & copper spacers.
7-8 oz. sheath tooled and dyed to give it an antique look.

Picked my new siembida up today. Headed on an elk hunt in the am. Hope to put it to work next to my Chisan.

My first attempt at sheath making. I have some adjustments to make, but it’s a start.

I think it is an excellent start....What are you thinking for the belt side of things?

Some really nice knives that have been posted. I've enjoyed this thread. I have always just used a cheap outdoor edge knife. It might be time for me to upgrade

Really cool.
I have been making and using leather sheaths for decades but for the first time this season I went with kydex....gotta say I'm loving the kydex... no issue popping a bloody nasty knife back in the sheath in field and just washing out in hot soapy water at home.... always loved how leather sheaths look....but hated cleaning them out or trying to clean my knife off adequately in field so I didnt make a rotten smelly mess later....
Pathfinder..after you get done making sheaths you'll start making ammo sleeves and cartridge loop slides and all other imaginable items lol it's a fun hobby for long cold winters.

I absolutely love this thread!

It has morphed into individuals displaying some exceptional knife/equipment related skills, and information/knowledge sharing.

Perhaps the thread title should be changed...hehe...
