Default 14 yr olds xbow bear is ready!!!!

As it rained all morning we decided to slug on. Keep the fire going to somewhat dry out and got Noah practicing 30yd shots all day with the crossbow.
5pm off to the ground blind with Rob watching our backs from above.

Mr bear shows and circles and circles never giving a good shot. I asked Noah kindly to grab the .270 or he may never come back. But being the sniper kid he is, he said" Dad, its crossbow or nothing."

Well the student is now the teacher. Another 47 minutes of this bear playing with Dads emotions he presented a great angle. Noah settle the dot and away went the rage hypodermic. Curled back and expired on quad trail.

Has always been my favourite thing to do, spring bear baiting and cams and fires and fun. I think everyone should try it at least once or twice. Good luck this spring. Thanks to Marco at Sugarcreek for always finding time for my animals. Really great man and very talented. Hope you enjoy and please share your bear adventures this spring.

Thumbs up

That’s what it’s all about, the journey to a fine bear.
