Airdrie Pond Fishing
The main pond in airdrie has rainbows, and i did indeed catch one, but other then that ive been back there for a total of 4 hours and haven't even gotten a bite! Any tips on what to use?? Really need some help!!

hi my son and his friends go there all the time, he uses a size 14 hook and a little piece of velveta cheese, then he sits on the platform and lets the cheese sit about 18-24 inches in the water, they do really well usually catch 20-30 rainbows.

Thanks, would a size 6 hook be okay and does he use, a bobber or straight bobber, or without a bobber, or...?

i want to go tonight, and does he sit on the platform and hold the line and cheese right infront of him or does he cast it out?

yep just sits on the platform and just holds the rod over the edge, sz 6 may work but is pretty big, no weights and no bobbers. just a hook and cheese

just let it hang off the wharf, they use there ice fishing rods , no casting involved

Airdrie didnt flood..., its a ariated pond in nose creek park..

theres lots of fish left in the pond, the kids catch them all the time, i went recommend eating them, the water is pretty gross

I believe 5 as its a put and take lake, but the regs will definitly let ya know for sure..

NO a size 6 is too large.
Take the advise given and use a small hook 12 or 14.
