Default Outboard w/power trim question

Hey folks,
So I'm picking up an evinrude 60/40 jet tiller in a couple weeks which only comes with power tilt/trim and not manual.
Wondering how rigid the trim setup is in case of a smack to the intake, as I won't be able to run it unlocked through the pucker sections of river.

If there's no other solution, I'll fab a kickback jack plate.
Just curious if someone with more experience has ever modded the trim, or if it's even required?
I'm assuming there's at least a relief valve or something there for real hard knocks.

Cheers

If I'm correct they will still kick up as there should be a rod or two that pushes up from underneath

Have a 50/35 etec w power trim.
Awesome tiller if that’s what your getting .
Have only ever really cranked it once hard enough to bend pump loaders, no give at all upon impact. It was a direct hit on a 2 ft Boulder.
I have small tunnel which gives a little more room. If it’s super shallow I could trim up a bit but really it’s never been a problem.
I’d run it a bit and see what you think before you decide to add jack plate.
