Default Frostbite gear

I was wondering if anyone uses frostbite rods at all.It seems like every time i go to order something it is out of stock.Feedback on quality and comparibility to other ice rods would be welcomed.

Bought a couple of ultra lite Fenwicks last year. Incredible rod for perch fishing and handles a good size walleye no problem

I'm pretty certain the frostbite rods are made from Della bay.

I got the Mister Big 43" Heavy for big Pike. The backbone is awesome, which is what I was looking for, but I accidentally snapped the tip off of it putting it back into a rod case which knocked an inch or two off of it. Now it's a bit more manageable in the shack with the reduced length at least lol, but after looking at my *new* last eyelet closely, I realized it was placed quite crooked during manufacturing...

Luckily they also accidentally sent me two rods instead of one, so I've got the other one ready for Lakers still.

The eyelets do seem to be placed correctly on the second rod, and maybe I'll do a review video in the future.

I've been trying to buy a 38" MH Walleye rod from Frostbite but they're always sold out. Shame. Have a bunch of dinner bells and rattle baits tho...

I ordered a few to try last year. Pantastic, Royal Flush, and the Dipstick. I like them all a lot so far but had a problem with the tip breaking on the Dipstick end of last season, not exactly sure what happened. Fishing in a crowded shack with quite a bit of action going on. One second fine, next broken. I got a refund and am going to take a chance on another one when they come back in stock as I liked it so much. Hope to try one or two of the heavier models as well depending on what the pricing comes in at this year.
